We’re ready for Winter Break!

Final Exams are the only thing standing between Marin Academy’s students, faculty, and staff and the rest and relaxation of Winter Break.  Fitting for our unique and diverse community, is the wide range of activities that we will be participating in over the next few week.  See what 40 of us will be up to!

  • I am most looking forward to sleeping for the first four days of break, and then actually having time to read. – Alex C., Class of 2013
  • I won’t be working on college apps – I’m going skiing in Colorado! – Alex H., Class of 2013
  • I can’t wait to celebrate the holidays, especially since my brother will be home. – Amanda, Class of 2013
  • I am excited to go to the Rose Bowl!  My brother Andrew (Class of 2009) will be marching in the parade with the Stanford Band!  – Amanda, Class of 2014
  • I am most looking forward to sleeping and hiking with my sisters over break! – Amelia, Class of 2014
  • I can’t wait to have my brother home over winter break! – Anji, Class of 2015
  • Playing basketball all break – Brandon, Class of 2013
  • I can’t wait to see my sister and give her a giant hug the moment she walks in the door.  – Callan, Class of 2013

  • I am most looking forward to submitting my college apps, spending time with my fam, and eating a ton of Starbucks’ cranberry bliss bars over winter break! – Jessie, Class of 2013
  • I am headed to the Florida Keys to see my British cousins who we only get to see once a year.  – Jessie, Class of 2014

The 2012-2013 school year marks 40 years of education at Marin Academy.  Throughout the year we will be commemorating this anniversary with on-campus events for students, special publications (including this on-going series of “lists of 40″), and a community celebration at Bimbo’s in San Francisco on April 20 (Save the date!).
